26 October Two panel illustration of my Imogen Character

When Imogen heard her governess, Miss Reed, on the back stairs of the nursery, she knew that Latin conjugations were not far behind.

"Not today," thought she and slipped into a parallel time shift.

"This way", she smiled " I can have tea with dolly and still enjoy the frantic searchings of Miss Reed." She giggled and all was right with the world.

23 October Hellena's Coffee Break

#inktober2016 #inktober day 23

With the laundry piled high, the sink full of dirty dishes, and a to-doing list a mile long, Hellena felt the need for a little break.

Sure, she slipped the house into an inter-dimensional stasis, "but," thought she, "all is fair in housework and ME time". #DonnaDavisArt

22 October Rainy Lazy day in the studio

It was a lovely rainy morning in the studio. My hot coffee and window day dreaming won out. Therefore I only managed a scribble of Puss on her favourite shelf. Day 21 #inktober 2016 I wasn't feeling it today, so I did a partial scribble of Puss on her shelf.. #DonnaDavisArt #inktober2016

18 October Tea and Toadstools

Agnes thought Tea under the Toadstools a lovely way to while away an afternoon.
"Well," thought she, "The best laid plans of Teacups and afternoons often go awry" #inktober #inktober2016 #DonnaDavisArt #ToadHallArt

17 October Auntie Elsinore's Holiday

Auntie Elsinore loved having tea with friends. Sometimes, however, she needed a holiday from her old bones.

"What better way," thought she, "Then to be a gnarled tree in one's own garden."

Her friends couldn't agree more.

"However," thought Puss, "I shan't be able to reach the cream up here."#DonnaDavisArt #ToadHallArt #inktober #inktober2016
